Over the last few months, we’ve had great conversations with many learners about how Coursera could better support them in completing courses and Specializations successfully. One point that’s come up frequently in these conversations is the need for more robust progress tracking and planning features to keep learners oriented and on track throughout a course.
Starting today, we’re trying out a few new features to address this need. Some learners will now see progress tracking and planning tools – including progress bars, week-by-week planning guides, and links to upcoming videos and assignments – on their course dashboards and course pages.
We’re excited to see the impact of these features, and to continue to improve this aspect of our platform in the coming weeks and months. Although the new features are currently part of a small pilot, we hope to make them available to all learners across our platform very soon.
If you have questions or feedback related to these new features – or anything else on Coursera – please visit our Learner Help Center. Thank you for helping us make Coursera a better place to learn!
