Today, we proudly welcome Michele M. Meyers as Coursera’s Chief Accounting Officer. Michele brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and SEC reporting to Coursera. She has spent much of the past decade serving as a Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at publicly traded companies. Most recently, Michele served as Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer at Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE: BKI). Previously, she served as a Vice President at Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A. (NASDAQ: ASPS) and in various roles at Deloitte.
In her role as Chief Accounting Officer at Coursera, Michele will support overall growth and international expansion while overseeing the company’s global accounting operations, policies, and controls consistent with SEC, GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
In addition to her work, Michele serves as an advisor and board member for various health and higher education initiatives in North Florida, including the local executive committee of the American Diabetes Association. Michele holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of West Florida and is a certified public accountant.
