Вітаємо, українські студенти! Today, we’re taking another step toward breaking down language barriers by partnering with BIONIC University to translate Coursera courses into Ukrainian.
BIONIC University is a newly launched professional development center in Ukraine that provides education for aspiring technology professionals and entrepreneurs. In their mission to bring more learning opportunities to the approximately 40 million Ukrainian speakers in the world, BIONIC University has offered to help us develop subtitles for around ten of Coursera’s most popular courses. The first three courses to be translated will be:
- Probabilistic Graphical Models, from Stanford University
- Gamification, from University of Pennsylvania
- Creative Programming for Digital Media & Mobile Apps, from University of London
BIONIC University is one of the first in Ukraine to join our Global Translations Partner program. In addition to offering translations in Ukrainian, we are working with partners all over the world to translate our courses into Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Kazakh, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and many more languages to come.
