What was the most fun course you ever took?
CS0004 – Introduction to Scientific Computing and Problem Solving. I took this class during my first year at Brown University, and it was my introduction to the idea that there was more to computing than playing games and reading e-mail. This small nudge developed into the shove that pushed me off the path to medical school and in to Silicon Valley.
What are the top three Coursera courses you want to take?
Statistics One– We’re surrounded by mountains of data these days. I’d simply like to better understand what it is all saying.
Model Thinking– Along the same lines, I think that models can help me make sense of this complex world.
Health Policy and the Affordable Care Act– Health policy is shaping our future in deep ways. I’m looking for a better foundation for understanding how the system works at large and evaluating the various arguments about policy.

Why did you join Coursera?
I took Andrew’s Machine Learning class in the Fall of 2011 and was impressed by both Andrew and the platform. I’m daunted and exhilarated by the pursuit of a great positive change in the accessibility of education worldwide, and I want to be a part of it.
