During the 1950’s the world dubbed Cooke the “King of Soul” because of his smooth and melodic voice on romantic hits like “You Send Me” and “Cupid”, as well as sentimental blockbusters like “Chain Gang”, “Bring it on Home to Me”, “Saturday Night”, and the politically charged “A Change is Gonna Come”. The tenderness of his voice pulls at the heart strings!
