By Rick Levin, CEO of Coursera

We’re thrilled to share a big Coursera company update: we recently closed our fourth round of funding. We’ll use the $64 million raised in this round to continue expanding and improving the Coursera learning experience in 2017 and beyond.

In particular, our Series D funding will allow us to accelerate our product innovation efforts, grow our high quality and stackable degree portfolio, and build business and government partnerships in order to address the needs of a global workforce.

While we have an amazing team at Coursera, we’ll need more great talent to achieve these bold objectives. We plan to grow our team significantly over the remainder of 2017. If you’re interested in helping us build the world’s best learning experience, I invite you to take a look at our Careers page.

We wouldn’t be where we are today without our 150+ exceptional university partners and dozens of innovative business and government collaborators. Most of all, we are grateful to the 26+ million talented, motivated people worldwide who have come to our platform to learn everything from negotiation, to modern history, to machine learning. From all of us here at Coursera—thank you!

We can’t wait to continue our work together with our community to redefine the way people learn throughout their lives.

More information about our Series D funding round can be found in the press release.
