By Greg Hart, Coursera CEO

I’m excited to announce that Anthony Salcito has joined Coursera as our new General Manager, Enterprise, starting today.

Anthony is a recognized leader in global education transformation. He brings decades of experience helping organizations harness technology to improve learning outcomes and build skills for the modern workforce. Most recently, Anthony served as Chief Institution Business Officer at Nerdy (Varsity Tutors), where he supported educators and institutions with innovative tutoring and enrichment solutions. Before that, during more than two decades at Microsoft, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Education, pioneering global initiatives including Live@EDU (Office 365), Partners in Learning, Microsoft Innovative Educator program, and Showcase Schools.

Beyond his executive roles, Anthony has also been engaged with the broader education ecosystem, serving on the boards of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Western Governors University, and Teach.org. He currently co-chairs the board of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.

At Coursera, Anthony will lead our Enterprise business — partnering with companies, campuses, and governments worldwide to help employees, students, and citizens master the right skills needed to succeed amid rapid technological change. He will also play a key role in bringing Skills Tracks — our newly launched, data-backed learning solution that guides learners from foundational knowledge to expert proficiency through verified skill paths — to more customers, helping them close skill gaps faster.

We’re delighted to welcome Anthony to the Coursera leadership team and look forward to the impact his experience and vision will have as we strengthen our Enterprise offering and deliver content and product innovations to our customers at an even faster pace.
