By Stephanie Durand – Head of Enterprise, EMEA, Coursera

Last August, we embarked on our journey to serve enterprise learners with a specific offering, built on Coursera’s unmatched technology platform and content foundation. Since then we’ve been deeply honored to partner with many leading companies in applying our solution to create an holistic corporate learning experience for their employees.

Expansion in Europe – which is already home to 20 percent of Coursera’s learners and more than 35 of our university partners – is critical to our mission. Today, I’m excited to welcome Air France KLM, Criteo, Gemalto, Booking.com, Unicredit, and Telenor as our newest European customers. These six innovative companies have chosen us to help them achieve vital workforce development goals.

The skills gap across France and throughout Europe requires urgent attention. We’re thrilled to see the eagerness among leading regional employers to work with us and our university partners to find ways to bridge this gap. Coursera for Business addresses the critical need for a next-generation workforce learning and development solution – it equips employees with the skills they need to succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s jobs, and provides companies with the benefits of an industry-tested platform and an extensive catalogue of content from 150 top university partners.

From helping Air France KLM drive their digital transformation efforts, to supporting Booking.com in implementing a learning strategy that can keep pace with their business and technology imperatives, Coursera is helping European companies re-imagine their learning and development investments in ways that future-proof their organizations.

Once again, a warm welcome to all of our new customers in Europe. We can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together!
